- Best value for larger prints and functional parts
- Durable materials like PLA, PETG, ABS, and more
- Wide colour options including matte, silk, transparent, and specialty filaments
- Strong mechanical properties ideal for brackets, prototypes, tools, and cosplay pieces
- Lower cost compared to resin, especially for big models
Things to know:
- Visible layer lines are normal (can be sanded or smoothed)
- Fine details aren’t as sharp as resin
- Large prints are easier and cheaper with FDM
FDM is perfect when you need strength, size, or affordability.
🧪 Resin Printing
Great for ultra‑detailed, smooth, high‑precision prints
Resin printing uses UV‑cured liquid resin to create incredibly sharp and detailed models. If you want professional‑grade detail, resin is the best option.

- Exceptional detail—tiny text, sharp edges, intricate geometry
- Glass‑smooth surfaces right off the printer
- Perfect for miniatures, figurines, jewelry, prototypes, and display pieces
- High dimensional accuracy for tight tolerances

Things to know:
- Not ideal for very large models
- Some resins are more brittle than FDM plastics
